TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida A&M University will host Rattlers Recording, a new live music experience highlighting the musical talents of FAMU students, on Friday, Feb. 20, 2026, at 6 p.m. in the ESUA Grand Ballroom. Hosted by FAMU Campus Activities Board and Venomous Ent., the event is designed to celebrate music as an art while providing student artists the opportunity to share their sound.

“This event is a celebration of the voices, talents, and stories that shape the Rattler experience,” said Edward Kincheon, advisor of the Campus Activities Board. “We recognize dedication, perseverance and spirit that continues to inspire and uplift our campus.”
Event highlights will include:
- A mix of genres, from R&B, Gospel, Old school, and many more.
- Live production showcasing the creative process behind the music.
- Standout performances from student artists and organizations.

Rikhari Lewis, a fourth-year healthcare management major, serves as project manager for Rattler Recording.
“Rattlers Recording is about creating space for our students to be seen and heard as artists,” he said. “This experience highlights the creativity within our campus while allowing student musicians to share their work in an environment that honors expression and culture.”
