My Experience

During my collegiate journey at Tallahassee State College and Florida A&M University, I’ve had the opportunity to intern with four different companies, gaining hands-on experience in public relations and strategic communication.

Method Communications

Public Relations Intern | July 2024 – August 2024

  • Participated in client calls, internal meetings and executed assigned action items.
  • Created news briefs to summarize media coverage for client review.
  • Conducted research to support client strategies and internal initiatives.
  • Built media lists, pitch documents and intake forms for campaigns.

VIP Concierge | May 2025

  • Greeted patrons in the VIP Deck and answered questions about the festival experience.
  • Deployed complementary items across the festival to enhance guest engagement.
  • Provided premier customer service to ensure all attendees had an enjoyable and memorable experience.




IAAPA – International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions

Global Communications Intern | June 2025 – August 2025

  • Monitored media mentions, tracked sentiment and measured global reach.
  • Drafted press releases, communications pieces and newsletter copy for international expos.
  • Designed media invitations and built targeted media lists for events and coverage.
  • Reviewed social media influencers, updated internal guidelines and maintained communications documentation.




Tallahassee State College | Office of Academic Affairs

OPS Public Relations Assistant | November 2023 – Present

  • Assisted the African American History Calendar (AAHC) Committee with honoree photoshoot and video days, final product of calendar distribution and communication with community members.
  • Served as Volunteer Lead for the 13th and 14th Annual Tallahassee Science Festivals, coordinated and supported a team of 25-35 volunteers to ensure successful event operations and community engagement.
  • Produce executive communications for the Provost including speeches and travel briefing packets. In addition to press releases, student bios and letters of recommendation, supporting leadership initiatives at TSC.
  • Support course instruction by creating assignments, rubrics, and managing course materials and assisting students to enhance academic success.
